The mahogany and brass dining room at Brooklyn Diner at night, a server carrying a tray past the booths

Brooklyn Diner

Open ’Til Late  ·  Midtown NYC  ·  Two Locations

Est. New York City

The grand American diner
that never really closes

Brass rails, mahogany booths, a penny-tile floor and a marble counter. Soups that simmer all morning, pies baked at dawn, pastrami cured in house and milkshakes spun to order. It’s a diner — just a finer one.

Since opening day

A scratch kitchen
in a chrome-and-
leather room

Step inside and it reads like a diner from the golden age. What’s different is the kitchen: the pies and layer cakes come out of our own pastry ovens every morning, the pastrami is cured and steamed here, and the egg cream is made the real way — syrup, milk, seltzer, in that order.

Brooklyn Diner is part of The Fireman Hospitality Group, feeding Midtown for decades.
