01 — Breakfast, all day
Tony Bennett’s French Toast
Thick slices of cinnamon, raisin and pecan challah, griddled to order, with fresh strawberries and all-natural Vermont maple syrup. The most-ordered plate in the house.
A love letter to the great New York diner — the chrome-and-leather kind — cooked with the care of a proper restaurant kitchen.
Who we are
Step inside and it reads like a diner from the golden age — polished brass rails, deep leather booths, a long marble counter and a floor of little hexagonal tiles. It’s warm, it’s loud in the best way, and it’s open from eight in the morning ’til late.
What’s different is the kitchen. The soups simmer for hours. The pastrami is cured and steamed in house. The pies and layer cakes are baked by our own pastry team every day, the milkshakes are spun to order, and the egg cream is made the real way — syrup, milk and seltzer, in that order.
Brooklyn Diner is part of The Fireman Hospitality Group, a family of New York restaurants that has been feeding Midtown for decades.
The greatest hits

01 — Breakfast, all day
Thick slices of cinnamon, raisin and pecan challah, griddled to order, with fresh strawberries and all-natural Vermont maple syrup. The most-ordered plate in the house.

02 — House specialty
A whole dinner under a golden puff-pastry dome, baked fresh every day in limited quantities. When it’s gone, it’s gone — so order early.

03 — The counter classics
A brioche-bun cheeseburger with rosemary fries, hot pastrami piled on rye, and an all-beef frankfurter with housemade juniper sauerkraut. Diner food, done right.
